The regulations for the transport of dangerous goods by road are set out in a European agreement, the ADR (Accord européen relative au transport international de marchandises Dangereuses par Route). The ADR is part of the United Nations Model Regulations put the rules on the different transportation methods into a classification system. This system assigns each dangerous substance or article a class that defines the type of danger the substance presents. The packing group (PG) then further classifies the level of danger according to PG I, PG II or PG III. he Transport of Dangerous Substances by Land). The Carriage of Dangerous Goods Act forms the basis of the regulations for the transport of dangerous goods by road.

If your shipment contains ADR/LQ goods, including any markings, labels or pictograms on the outer packaging, the carrier may refuse to collect or dispatch the package. For this reason, avoid choosing reused containers or boxes with ADR/LQ markings for your shipment.
Important ADR Carriers will not accept any claim for delays caused by the shipment of dangerous goods or for labelling the outer packaging as ADR/LQ.
